How do I log into Canvas?

  • Go to canvas.cccd.edu and click the link for college students/faculty.
  • Use your MyCoast (MyCCC, MyGWC, or MyOCC) username and password to login.

 

I forgot my password.

To reset your MyCoast password, submit a MyCoast Password Reset Request http://www.cccd.edu/students/Pages/mysite-password-reset-request.aspx or contact IT Service Desk http://www.cccd.edu/employees/ITServiceDesk/Pages/IT_Service_Desk.aspx 

 

I don't see my course listed in Canvas

  • After logging into Canvas, click Courses > All Courses.
  • If you are listed as the instructor of record on the online searchable schedule and you do not see your course listed on the All Courses page, contact your college's Canvas support (CCC Canvas Support, GWC Canvas Support, OCC Canvas Support).

The students listed in Canvas do not match my roster in MyCoast

Please allow up to one hour for syncing of student adds and drops from your official roster to Canvas.  If discrepancies remain, contact your college's Canvas support (CCC Canvas Support, GWC Canvas Support, OCC Canvas Support).
