If you become a victim of sexual assault and wish to report the crime:

Get to a safe place

Contact police by dialing 911

Do not shower, bathe, douche, change clothing

Do not straighten up the area
-
The police will assist you to seek medical attention
-
A rape crisis counselor will meet you at the hospital and will provide you with
support and ongoing counseling
You did not choose to be a victim of sexual assault. But you can choose to be a
survivor!
