Hill Named Coast Community College District's
Employee of the Year

Nancy Hill, Coast Community College District’s executive assistant to the vice chancellor and director of Human Resources, has been named District Employee of the Year for 2010-2011.
A resident of Corona, Hill received the award from Chancellor Andrew Jones at the annual District Area Managers Picnic held August 19. Hill has been an employee of the District for over 19 years.
Vice Chancellor Deb Hirsh shared that they have their very own “Radar O’Reilly” from MASH, who hands you information before you even realize you need it. Despite the challenging tasks, long hours associated with her work, and having no back up assistance, Hill is always willing to help with a smile. It is for these reasons that Vice Chancellor Hirsh and the Director of Human Resources, Donna Waldfogel, feel Hill is |
deserving of this recognition. She is an “unsung hero who goes above and beyond each and every day.”
Other nominees for the Employee of the Year were Jane Burton, Veronica Arroyo, Cathy Mesenbrink, Dave Bunnell, Angela Bell, Paula Brady, and Kahn Raddavong.
The Coast Community College District is the seventh largest community college district in the nation in credit enrollment, serving nearly 60,000 students each semester. The district is comprised of Coastline Community College headquartered in Fountain Valley, Golden West College in Huntington Beach, and Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa.
