How can I obtain a District application packet?
A   Application packets are now available online, look for the Acrobat reader icon. District application packets can also be requested via telephone by calling the District Personnel Office at (714) 438-4714 or 438-4715. PLEASE REFER TO THE JOB # WHEN MAKING THIS REQUEST. Also, our administrator, faculty and adjunct faculty applications are now available on this website.
 
Where can I get a copy of the job description?
A   ONLY faculty job descriptions are attached to the application and will provide all necessary information on a specific opening, hover over the job title and click. 
  
When are applications accepted?
A   Applications are accepted only for positions currently open. This is true for all jobs posted on this site except for Adjunct Faculty positions. Applications for these jobs are accepted on a continuous basis. 
  
Do I need to submit a separate application for each job?
A   Yes, you must submit a completed application for each specific position for which you are applying, on or before the closing date deadline.
 
Can I submit an application after the closing date?
A   No, the closing date is firm. Applications must be received by the District Personnel Office by 5:00 p.m. on or before the closing date. Postmarks on or before the closing date are acceptable.
 
Can you tell me more about the selection procedure?
A   Applications will be forwarded to the appropriate department for review and screening by the selection committee. Applicants considered most qualified will be invited for a personal interview. This entire process takes approximately 4-6 weeks to complete from the closing date of the search. Unfortunately, the District Office will not be able to advise you on the status of your application until the final selection has been made.
