The Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Compliance (OEIC) and the District at large welcome and support our veterans as they transition from service and onto their higher educational paths.  


Vet Net Ally Program

The Colleges regularly host the Vet Net Ally Program, a training opportunity that increases faculty, staff, and administrative awareness of veterans' experiences in the college classroom, of post-military culture, and of methods for supporting veterans in their academic pursuits. 

Vet Net Ally seminars open to the District as a whole will be advertised here and on the Events page. For specific College offerings, please check with appropriate entities at each College. 

Vet Net Ally Badge

Look for the Vet Net Ally badge in faculty, staff, and administrative offices - and in email signatures - to identify individuals who have participated in this training.

Online Training 

  • Kognito Online Training: "Veterans on Campus for Faculty and Staff"
    • This training provides information for faculty and staff on supporting student veterans by building military cultural competency.  All CCCD students and staff can access this module after creating an account or logging in on the site.  
  • Kognito Online Training: "Veterans on Campus Peer Program"
    • This training provides information for students on supporting peers who are adjusting from military to college life.  All CCCD students and staff can access this module after creating an account or logging in on the site.
