Master Planning

Coast Community College District (CCCD) recognizes that thoughtful planning is important to ensure effective management of the District. The District-wide Strategic Plan 2018-21 sets the key strategic goals and objectives for District. Additional plans, such as the District Strategic Fiscal Plan, Facilities Master Plan, and District-wide Strategic Technology Plan, provide focus and direction for specific areas, as needed.

The District Consultation Council serves as the primary participatory governance body that is responsible for district-wide planning activities including the development of planning and budgetary recommendations that are submitted to the Chancellor and Board of Trustees.

Each of the three colleges within the district - Coastline Community College, Golden West College and Orange Coast College - has their own internal processes for planning and evaluation. These plans are simultaneously integrated into the district-wide planning and resource allocation processes. The District Research, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness Department assists in the coordination of these planning efforts. Inquiries may be directed to (714) 438-4877 or email.
